"Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in school." Albert Einstein
“Children must be taught how to think, not what to think.” Margaret Mead
"Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today." Malcolm X
“The soul is healed by being with children.” Fyodor Dostoyevsky

Year 6 Triathlon 2018

After we left school, there was a green minibus waiting for us. We got on it and we went on a 20-minute journey to Willesden Sports Centre. When we got there, there were a few schools waiting. We had a little talk with some guy, and then we got changed in the changing room for the event. First event was swimming. We got into a line, and one-by-one, we started swimming around the swimming pool. We got out, then got our shirt on, put our trainers on, and ran with the basket to some staff member who took the basket from us and took it all the way to the finish line. While they were doing that we ran to the bicycle area and got on our bikes (with a helmet) and cycled 2 laps around a field. Then we got off, took our helmets off, gave our bikes to staff members and we ran across another field to the building where there was the finish line! When we got to the finish line we got a bag as a reward and a cold yoghurt to cool ourselves down. Then we got a medal and we got on the minibus and went back to school.
