Hockey - St Augustines

On Friday 15th September, St Vincent’s competed against St Augustine who were quite good.  Mr grear and coach were walking with us all the way to St Augustine. When we arrived we went to their field to start our matches. We started playing our B team against their B team.  Time was ticking by and still the score was 0-0.  This was because we were crowding around the ball too much and because the ball kept on touching our feet.  Suddenly one of the girls from St Augustines took the ball and shot a goal. There was good defence from our side but the opposition was on the attack. The end of the match was coming near and the score was 2-0 for them. We were very close to scoring a couple times but their keeper blocked the ball . We shook hands with each other and chose who was man of the match.  In the A team Amara was man of the match and Eliza for the Bs. After we went for a snack in the school hall.

Scores-

A team 5-0 (for St Augustine)

B team 3-0 (for St Augustine)
