Thank you all of the year 5 and 6 students who worked hard to fulfil their roles this year as part of the St Vincent's School Sports Organising Committee. These children have been a valuable asset to the school supporting with after school clubs, lunch time activities, running of in-school festivals and monitoring of equipment. They have continually shown commitment to the School Games values: passion, respect, honesty, self-belief and team work. Their valued contributions to school sports have enabled us to once again gain the Sainsbury's School Games Gold Kite Mark for the second year running.
Our School Sports Ambassadors, Joe and Liv, have shown great leadership skills this year with both receiving a Gold Medal from the Sports Ambassador program from Willow Tree Sports Partnership in Ealing. Some of their roles this year have been to: manage sports teams at competitions, design school games values poster, write competition reports and perform a healthy eating presentation.
Congratulations to Fenn and Mia who have successfully received the 2015 Sister Pat Sports Award. This award is given to two year 6 children who have continually shown commitment to the following values: commitment, respect, sportsmanship, teamwork and effort.
St Vincent's frequently participates in a variety of different sporting competitions against other schools within Ealing.
