Uniform

At St. Vincent’s, we adhere to the Government's School Uniform policy and have high expectations of uniform.

Second hand uniform is available - please enquire at the school office and look our for PTA notices for the distribution of second hand uniform.

Items marked with * are generic and do not need to be purchased from the school supplier

 

Summer Uniform (worn until October half term)

 

Boys

  • *Blue shirt (long or short sleeve) and

  • School tie

  • Navy blue jumper with school crest

  • *Grey trousers (short trousers optional)
  • Blazers (Year 3 - 6 compulsory)
  • Blue Uniform dress
  • *Navy blue/Grey trousers
  • *White ankle or knee socks (NO shoe liner style socks) If the weather is slightly chilly, they may wear blue tights with their summer dress.
  • Navy blue cardigan / jumper with the school crest
  • Blazers (Year 3 - 6 compulsory)
 

 

Sandals can be worn by both girls and boys in the summer, but they must be closed toe.

  • Navy blue blazer with school crest (Year 3-6 compulsory)

  • *Black school shoes
  • *Blue blouse  (long or short sleeve) and school tie
  • *Navy skirt/skort
  • *Navy blue/Grey trousers
  • Navy blue cardigan or jumper with school crest
  • Navy blue blazer with school crest (Year 3-6 compulsory)
  • *Navy tights
  • *Navy / black coat or jacket
  • *Black flat school shoes

 

All children should also wear *black or navy hats, gloves and scarves.

 

PE Uniform

All children

  • Blue t-shirt with school crest
  • Plain, navy shorts or plain, navy tracksuit (weather dependent)
  • *Black trainers

 

Please make sure that all uniform is labelled clearly with the child’s full name

 

Girls should always wear their hair tied up with a plain blue hair band; boys should have a smart sensible haircut with no fashionable marks. Jewellery is not permitted.

 

 

Our Nursery children wear the Early Years Uniform, The Winter Uniform is a navy sweatshirt, (with the school crest), a blue polo shirt  (with school crest) and navy jogging bottoms.  The uniform providers have hats and waterproof navy reversible coats with the school crest. We advise parents of children in Early Years to ensure they have Velcro fastening shoes and slip on plimsoles to aid changes in footwear.

 

The nursery Summer Uniform is navy shorts and light blue polo shirt with the school logo.

The children from Reception to Year Six wear the formal uniform.

 

Please ensure that your child has a black or navy coat, as well as a navy hat, scarf and gloves.
