What a stunning start to our spring term!
On Tuesday, the year twos come running through the doors with excitement to see what their new topic was. Much to their surprise our classrooms had been turning into the Arctic over the holidays. There was snow all over the windows and floor and they had an 'Arctic' sound track playing. There was real Arctic ice on the tables (that they were allowed to play with) and there were pictures and clues all around the classroom for everyone to guess what we might be learning about. We also had some 'Blue planet' playing on the interactive board and there was an huge igloo in the corner of the room with a note in it saying ' Welcome to my world'. Everyone was very excited to go inside the igloo and look at some of our new books. The children found some different looking shoes and clothes, as well as some new soft play animals. We also have two big polar bear which we haven't names yet... It was finally revealed that we were going to be going on an 'ARCTIC ADVENTURE' for our spring learning.
