Section 48 Reports

Dear Parents and Carers,

I am exceptionally proud to be able to share our Section 48 Diocesan Report with you. The report is testament to our outstanding staff and school community.  The report came with congratulations from the Chief Inspector of the Diocese, and I include here some of her kind words:

"It is important to say that it was wonderful to read just how impressed the inspection team were with what they witnessed and that they recognised that St Vincent’s is a place where everyone is valued. The Catholic life stands out, particularly in the way you develop future Catholic leaders, support a rich and vibrant prayer life, with pupils acting as witnesses in their faith to their peers. The pupils have many opportunities to understand our call to be in service to each other, both in school and outside - and to become the person God created them to be so that will go out and make the world a better place. I was impressed by the extensive links you continue to develop with the groups which make up the school and your engagement particularly with parents and your parishes as you create a truly cohesive outstanding Catholic community. The report also celebrates the ways in which you make classroom religious education challenging and rigorous, building the pupils’ religious literacy, their oracy and their confidence and so they can articulate their faith with enthusiasm and from a point of deep understanding.

As always it is the quality of leadership, the vision and inspiration of the head and her leadership team, together with governors, that enables a school to ensure pupils receive the best quality of Catholic education, so congratulations to you all!”
