Netball - Ellen Wilkinson - C
On October 12th our netball C-team went to a competition at Ellen Wilkinson Girls School.
The team was made out of seven players, [Amara, Nicole, Daisy, and Eliza, Emmanual Anthony and Marcel].
They entered the competition with a winning streak even after finding out they were against B-teams .
They unfortunately were disturbed from their easy wins after drawing [almost losing] to Saint Marks. When it was time for results everybody was under supreme pressure, after finding out they had won their league they moved on to the semi-finals. In the semi-final they were against Down Manor, a match they won 3-0 .
It was time for the final no one was calm we happen to be against St Mark’s . Children from both teams were asking themselves the following questions: Who would win? Would it be a draw again ? What would happen if it was a draw? Eventually after 6 minutes the match was over. It was 2-1 to St Vincent’s, they were crowned with there 1st place medal. The team had a celebrational cupcake which Daisy had made as it was her birthday.
