'Our Eucharistic Journey'

Fr Fergal explains the sacrament of the Eucharist

Cardinal calls us to the presence of Christ - Adoremus 2018

Are you going to Adoremus - the Eucharistic Congress and Pilgrimage - in Liverpool from 7 - 9 September 2018? You can still secure your place at the events on Saturday and Sunday. http://www.jumpdp.com/adoremus20.../product/liverpool-tickets/ "From the Blessed Sacrament flows our life in Christ, flows our mission in Christ, flows our destiny in Christ."

This year we shall be celebrating the Blessed Sacrament along with our Diocese, parish and schools within all communities. This is an opportunity to enhance our devotion to the Blessed Sacrament and share the Cardinal’s hope for a 'rejuvenation' of love for the Eucharist in our school. It is important to remind ourselves that Christ is at the heart of our schools and learning and that 'We grow, learn and achieve by following Christ.'

Stage 1: Invitation

We began our Adoremus journey through the celebration of Corpus Christi, which was lead by our year 3 pupils and teachers. This mass was followed by Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in our school Chapel.

Stage 2: Connection

In Autumn 1, our Adoremus focus was based around the Artist Michael Malm and his inspiring artwork called 'Did our Hearts Not Burn Within Us?' The children across the school, recreated and interpreted the Michael Malm's artwork within their lessons. Here are some examples of the work produced.

Stage 3: Encounter
